# Integrations that work on day one

The integrations a real ecommerce business needs, already wired in. Everything else stays programmable.

## Extensibility without marketplace dependency

Commerce without ecosystem dependency. Core capabilities are first-party. Everything else remains programmable through APIs, webhooks, MCP and enterprise integrations.

Extensions exist, and Mercemur connects to plenty of them. The difference is that Mercemur does not require an extension marketplace to make the core platform useful. Catalog, inventory, orders, customers, promotions, marketing, returns, loyalty, digital products, subscriptions and the storefront are first-party capabilities, maintained as part of the platform rather than bought separately.

Beyond that core there are four routes out: native integrations where they make sense, REST and webhooks for everything else, MCP for agent-driven workflows, and enterprise integration work for the unusual requirements. Some things — SMS, WhatsApp, push, external systems of record — are integrations rather than native functionality, and are listed as such.

## Payments

Four real payment integrations, each maintained as part of the platform:

### Stripe

International cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, JCB, UnionPay)

Apple Pay and Google Pay

Refunds (full and partial) with reconciliation

Dispute notifications

Subscription billing for digital products

Runs on your own Stripe account using a restricted key you supply

No platform fee is taken from the charge; it lands in your account in full

Standard published Stripe rates apply

### Razorpay

UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM, every UPI app)

Cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, RuPay)

Net banking (every major Indian bank)

RuPay credit and debit cards

Refund handling

Webhook handling for refund.processed and other lifecycle events

Settlement directly to your Razorpay account

Standard published Razorpay rates apply

### Dodo Payments

Cross-border merchant-of-record

Tax compliance (VAT, sales tax, and local equivalents) handled by Dodo on your behalf

Useful for selling digital products globally without registering for local tax in every country

Per-merchant API key model

Dodo's published rates apply

### Adyen

Hosted Checkout sessions on your own Adyen merchant account

Refunds (full and partial) with reconciliation

Chargeback, chargeback-reversal and manual-review notifications by webhook

Account discovery, so the right merchant account is selected when you connect

Test and live environments, validated when the credentials are saved

Standard published Adyen rates apply

### Manual payments

Cash on delivery

Wire transfer

Cheque

Trade credit (net 30, net 60)

Offline reconciliation

Same order timeline as processor-based payments

## Shipping

Per-merchant sender domain (your deliverability is your own)

DKIM and SPF setup guidance built into the admin

Open and click tracking

Bounce and complaint tracking

Real-time delivery events

High deliverability infrastructure

## Analytics

### Google Analytics 4

Full ecommerce event tracking (view\_item, add\_to\_cart, begin\_checkout, purchase, and more)

Consent mode integration so customer cookie choices are honored

Standard page view and engagement events

No configuration overhead, the integration handles event mapping correctly

### Meta Pixel

ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Purchase events

Search and AddToWishlist events

Fires automatically based on storefront actions

Attribution for Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns

## Storage

Digital product file delivery uses secure cloud storage with short-lived signed links. Files do not leave the platform's controlled storage perimeter except through signed delivery to the customer who paid for them.

## Why pluggable

Every category (payment, shipping, email) is built around pluggable integrations. If a merchant on Enterprise needs:

A different payment provider in a region the built-in three do not cover well

A custom shipping carrier (3PL, warehouse partner, freight broker)

A different email infrastructure for a niche use case

Custom analytics for an internal dashboard

The platform supports adding integrations through the developer API. The default integrations cover most merchants. Anyone with a specific need builds against the same public API, on their own infrastructure and their own schedule.

## How to connect

Each integration has its own admin connection flow:

1

Stripe. Restricted key flow. Create a restricted key in your Stripe dashboard, paste it into the admin, and charges run on your own account.

2

Razorpay. API key flow. Generate API keys in your Razorpay dashboard, paste into the admin.

3

Dodo. API key flow. Generate API keys in your Dodo dashboard, paste into the admin.

4

Adyen. API credentials flow. Enter your Adyen API credentials, account discovery selects the merchant account, and they are validated on save.

5

ShipRocket. Account credentials flow. Enter your ShipRocket login, the integration handles the rest.

6

ShipEngine. API key flow. Paste your ShipEngine key into the admin.

7

Resend. Domain setup flow. Add your sender domain, follow the DKIM and SPF setup guide, verify.

8

GA4. Measurement ID flow. Paste your GA4 measurement ID into the storefront settings.

9

Meta Pixel. Pixel ID flow. Paste your Meta Pixel ID into the storefront settings.

Each connection is per-merchant. Multi-tenant isolation means your credentials are your own, not shared with other merchants on the platform.

## How integrations work together

A complete order flow touches multiple integrations:

1

Customer visits the storefront : GA4 and Meta Pixel fire page view

2

Customer adds to cart : Meta Pixel fires AddToCart

3

Customer checks out : Meta Pixel fires InitiateCheckout, GA4 fires begin\_checkout

4

Customer pays through Razorpay (India) or Stripe (international)

5

Payment captures : the full amount lands in your own Stripe or Razorpay account, with no Mercemur cut

6

Order completes : GA4 fires purchase, Meta Pixel fires Purchase

7

Resend sends order confirmation under your sender domain

8

ShipRocket (or ShipEngine) gets a shipment request

9

Carrier label generates, tracking number assigned

10

Resend sends shipped notification with tracking link

All of it happens automatically. No glue code, no manual reconciliation.

## Use cases

### India DTC brand

Razorpay for payments, ShipRocket for shipping, Resend for email, GA4 and Meta Pixel for analytics. One platform handles the full operation.

### International software vendor

Stripe for payments (subscription billing for SaaS), Dodo for cross-border tax compliance on certain regions, Resend for transactional and marketing email, GA4 and Meta Pixel for traffic and conversion attribution.

### Multi-region brand

Razorpay for India region, Stripe for US and EU regions, Dodo for the rest of the world. ShipRocket for India shipments, ShipEngine for international. Resend for email under a multi-region sender domain setup.

### Subscription box business

Stripe subscriptions for recurring billing. ShipEngine (or ShipRocket if in India) for monthly box shipments. Resend for transactional and pre-shipment emails. GA4 and Meta Pixel for acquisition.

### Multi-brand operator

Each brand has its own Stripe, Razorpay, ShipRocket, Resend, and GA4 accounts. The platform routes each brand's traffic and transactions to the brand's own provider connections.

### Agency

Each client store connects its own provider accounts. The agency operator has admin access without needing access to the client's actual Stripe or Resend credentials.

## Native connectors on the roadmap

These are first-party connectors we intend to build and maintain. They are roadmap directions, not commitments, and depend on merchant demand. Anything listed here can already be integrated today through the developer API, covered in the next section.

Additional payment providers for specific regional markets

Additional shipping aggregators for non-India, non-US-international markets

SMS and push notification channels

Marketplace integrations (eBay, Amazon, Etsy)

Social commerce (Instagram Shopping, TikTok Shop)

ERP integrations

Accounting integrations (QuickBooks, Xero)

## Custom integrations through the developer API

If the built-in integrations do not cover your need, or a maintained native connector is still on the roadmap, the integration is available today through the API:

The platform exposes a developer API for custom integrations

Custom payment providers, custom shipping carriers, custom email providers, custom analytics, all possible

Provider SDK simplifies the integration work

Available on Enterprise plans

### Common custom integrations

Warehouse management systems (WMS)

Enterprise resource planning (ERP)

Customer relationship management (CRM)

Marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo)

Loyalty programs

Tax engines (TaxJar, Avalara)

Custom payment gateways for specific regional markets

## Frequently asked questions

Can I add a custom integration?

Yes. Every category (payment, shipping, email, analytics) is built around pluggable integrations. Custom integrations are available through the developer API on Enterprise plans.

Are these integrations included in the base price?

Yes. You pay the underlying provider (Stripe, Razorpay, ShipRocket, Resend, and so on) at their own rates. Mercemur does not charge extra for the integration itself.

Can I use my existing Stripe account?

Yes. The Stripe integration connects to your existing Stripe account through a restricted key you create in your Stripe dashboard and paste into the admin. Charges land in that account.

Can I use my existing ShipRocket account?

Yes. Connect with your ShipRocket login.

Can I switch payment providers later?

Yes. Add or remove providers any time. The order timeline references the provider used at order time.

Can I use multiple payment providers simultaneously?

Yes. Stripe for international, Razorpay for India, Dodo for cross-border merchant-of-record, Adyen where you consolidate acquiring across markets. The checkout shows the right provider based on the customer's region.

Can I use a custom email provider instead of Resend?

On Enterprise plans, custom email providers are available through the developer API.

What if my shipping carrier is not supported?

Custom carriers integrate through the developer API on Enterprise plans. Manual fulfillment is always available as a fallback.

Do you charge for API calls?

API requests are a metered dimension on Growth and Enterprise plans. Free includes an API request allowance.

Do you support webhooks for custom integrations?

Yes. Mercemur emits webhooks for major events (order placed, payment captured, fulfillment shipped, entitlement granted, and more). Webhook outbox is SSRF-hardened and signed.

Can I integrate with a CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce?

Yes through the developer API. Custom integrations are available on Enterprise.

Can I integrate with a tax engine like TaxJar or Avalara?

Yes through the developer API on Enterprise plans. The built-in tax module handles most cases without an external engine.

Can I integrate with an ERP?

Yes through the developer API.

How are integration credentials stored?

Encrypted at rest. Per-merchant isolation. The platform never logs credentials in plaintext.

What happens if a provider has an outage?

Each integration is independent. A Razorpay outage does not affect Stripe orders. A ShipRocket API issue does not block ShipEngine shipments.

Can I test integrations in a sandbox before going live?

Yes. Stripe, Razorpay, ShipRocket, and ShipEngine all support test mode. Configure test credentials in the admin to run end-to-end tests.

Do integrations update automatically?

Yes. Built-in integrations are maintained by Mercemur. Updates roll out without requiring merchant action.

## Best practices for managing integrations

Connect integrations before you need them. Stripe, Razorpay, ShipRocket, ShipEngine, Resend, GA4, Meta Pixel. All of them are free to connect. Have them ready before launch day, not the morning of.

Use test mode for every payment provider during setup. Run end-to-end test orders before flipping to live. Catch the credential typos and configuration mistakes that production traffic reveals at the worst time.

Set up DKIM and SPF for your sender domain on day one. Email deliverability builds slowly. Start the reputation clock as early as possible.

Document your integration credentials in a secure password manager. Stripe keys, Razorpay keys, ShipRocket login, ShipEngine API key, Resend domain config, GA4 measurement ID, Meta Pixel ID. Centralize them somewhere safe.

Monitor each integration independently. Each integration has its own admin connection status. Check periodically that all of them are still healthy. A silent integration failure is worse than a noisy one.

## What to connect in what order

A clean launch sequence keeps the setup practical: collect money first, fulfill second, then layer in communication and attribution.
