## Built for founders who can't afford platform drag

Early-stage commerce shouldn't be strangled by platform fees and tier upgrades. The Mercemur startup program removes the money friction so founders can focus on product, customers, and the thing they're actually trying to prove.

### Genuine free tier

Launch a storefront without a card. The free plan is real, not a two-week trial dressed up as a free plan. Keep it as long as your store fits the limits.

### Platform credits for seed-stage

Verified seed-stage startups get platform credits toward paid tiers for the first year. Spend them on stores, volume, or premium integrations as you scale.

### No platform transaction fee

Mercemur takes none of it. Your payment provider still charges its own processing fee, but no cut of your revenue reaches us, on any plan and with any provider.

## Questions founders ask

How do I apply to the startup program?

Send a note to support@mercemur.com with the subject line 'Startup program'. Tell us the company, stage (bootstrapped, seed, Series A), and what you're building. We respond within a week.

How much in credits do you offer?

Credit amounts depend on stage and are shared on acceptance. Seed-stage credits typically cover meaningful scale during your first year on the platform.

Who qualifies as a startup?

Consumer-facing companies building a product or store, whether bootstrapped or venture-backed, within the first few years of operation. Accelerators and incubators qualify for program-level arrangements.

Are there any transaction fees during the program?

No. Zero transaction fees apply during and after the program. The credits are on top of that, not in exchange for it.

What happens when credits run out?

You move to the standard pricing you choose. No surprise invoices, no forced contract upgrades. We give advance notice and help you choose the plan that fits where your business is by then.
