Mercemur is a multi-tenant SaaS commerce platform. You sign up, get your own online store at a subdomain (or your custom domain), and start selling -- without hiring developers, paying transaction fees, or stitching tools together. Built on an open core that you actually own.
Shopify charges a percentage of every order you process (typically 0.5-2% on top of payment processor fees). Mercemur charges a flat subscription -- you keep 100% of your sales margin. We also support per-merchant payment connections, so you bring your own Stripe and Razorpay accounts and get billed directly by them.
We offer a Free tier to start (limited orders/month) and Pro plans starting at a flat monthly fee. There are no transaction fees, no revenue cuts, and no surprise charges. See the Pricing page for current plan details.
Click Sign Up at the top, fill in your email + password, name your store, and pick a country. We auto-provision your storefront in under a minute. You'll receive an email verification link to confirm your account.
Yes. We use AES-256-GCM encryption for sensitive credentials at rest, TLS for all data in transit, row-level security in our database to enforce strict tenant isolation, and we comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) and GDPR. Your data is yours -- we never sell it.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime from the admin dashboard under Settings -> Billing. Plan changes take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. We don't lock you in.
Yes -- every plan includes a free custom domain. Connect your existing domain (like mystore.com) via DNS, and we automatically issue an SSL certificate. You also get a free mercemur.com subdomain to use immediately.
Stripe (global) and Razorpay (India-first), with more on the way. You connect your own merchant accounts -- the providers bill you directly for transaction fees, and you keep complete control over your funds and customer data.
Connect your own ShipEngine account and we'll show live carrier rates (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, India Post, and 200+ more) at checkout. Print labels and track shipments directly from the admin dashboard.
Always. Mercemur is built on an open foundation -- you can export your products, orders, customers, and content at any time. We give you 30 days after cancellation to export everything before deletion. No vendor lock-in.
